It will fit into almost all standard Low Voltage down-light fittings:

In case of the Halopar 16 it is a straight replacement of your current globe in a light fitting with a loose lamp-holder.
In case of a Low Voltage down-light, you merely have to replace the lamp-holder, and cut out the transformer.

There is no specialised driver required!
